Facilitated discussions about Race

Before the Facilitation Session
In a free-flowing and comfortable way, I talk with your people —leaders and influencers— to discover key points of tension. Every workplace is different. Let's face it, there's no point wasting time on problems you don't have to solve.  

I offer pre- and post-testing, because you can't manage what you can't measure. You will get to see the difference that calm conversations can make.
Prepared with that research, I then tailor an engaging, facilitated session designed to achieve the goals you have agreed. The Facilitation session will feature experiential learning techniques that release defensiveness and tension with humour and connection.

During the Facilitation Session
Prepared in advance for a shifting range of likely responses to the learning, participants are free to gain new perspectives and see through old illusions. Personal realisations are gently processed with skill and understanding.

I use interactive participant technology, so we hear confidentially and anonymously from everyone, introvert or extravert, powerful or not. This process gets buy-in and commitment to agreed priority actions.

After the Facilitation Session
I provide you with detailed feedback and analysis reports, which give valuable insights and quotations for ongoing reinforcement of the messages.  If you need me further I am available for additional facilitation when circumstances or personnel changes.
